FULLVIEW BECAUSE DA ALWAYS SCREWS UP MY DEVS, KTHX <333
YES, OMG, I WORKED ON ART FOR LIKE MORE THAN 10 MINUTES. *note: This is also the first fully digital piece I don’t hate. This took ten hours, actually. >_______> I had like 100 layers on it. Based off an idea I gave *bec-sparrow for an art trade, I tried to do my own version of it. Apart from the fact Kimiko looks mysteriously un-Asian in this piece, I think I actually got it well. O: I am in love with her nose. <3 Notice I tried to draw nostrils? 8D I’m really crap at drawing side profiles – so I gave it a shot, same for hands {please do NOT point out Mike’s far hand, that crapped up}. And I actually like how I drew two of them. O: So, the supposed story is – the flashlight’s running out of batteries and Kimiko’s freaking out because she’s paranoid about being left in the dark when there’s things lurking about. Michael’s sort of just starting to acknowledge the dangers {he’s dumb sometimes lolol} and is getting sort of concerned, too. I’m actually interested in writing a scene for this, now. <333 Omg I feel so inspired lately, it’s fantastic! I think changes and improvements may finally be happening.  I was inspired to use some lineart shading after *boomerangmouth complimented how I did crosshatching stuff in my last dev. I really like this combination, I’ll probably use it from now on. =Harakun also inspired me here, as she taught me that you can be awesome at art, even if you don’t have the same styles as your idols {Hara’s one of them <3}, I’ve decided I don’t need to ditch lineart to be a good artist, and I now feel confident for it. :] I also had fun with playing around with darkness and light - wait what, I'm saying something GOOD about my drawings? wtf? *ahem* <haterant> I HATE IT BLAHBLAHBLAHBLAH IT'S SO BAD. </haterant>  Expect more detailed pictures from now on, whether it has more background, or more experimenting with full bodies and hands {things I usually try to hide}. Anyway, I like how this came out, already working on more drawings. Improvements on Kimiko and Mike since [link] , y/y?  Michael and Kimiko are mine Art is mine <3 Comments
