Lately, I've had absolutely no interest in writing my story; nor have I been interested in drawing any of my characters.
I generally always do... I've had the project for 8 years and it's been a few months since I've touched anything [even my short stories].
I'm scared it's finally died jsdhbsfjnfsdj.
What do I do? D: How do I find inspiration again...?
  • Mood: Anguish
  • Listening to: Rammstein remixes
  • Reading: German homework

Like everyone else is saying, give it a rest and put your mind off it - you'll find inspiration elsewhere surely!

If it comes to an even longer time and you've done nothing, maybe it'd be better to shelve that project, focus on something new?

It sounds to me like you've been seriously stressed lately. I say just wait and relax. Take a walk, read a book, bake some cookies - just do something. You can find inspiration in the smallest of activities!

It certainly hasn't died. All you need to do is just continue with life and inspiration will take you again. It always does.

Just don't do what I did and do nothing at all. You have got to keep your creativeness going, even if it's just little ditty short stories.

try something new, start a new project and give the old one a little time to simmer. allow your ideas to build up until they explode and you find that you just cant stop writing and drawing.

Or you could do what i did, play some D&D with some friends. Because the crazy sh*t your characters get up too will most likely be inspiration enough. Example our party committed regicide and then found a book which turns into a house. I know it sounds weird but it really helped me.
