Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

_{I've barely been in the IT industry for long and I'm already facepalming.
The amount of people that tell you to reformat over the smallest shit are really starting to get to me.
I got told to reformat my mother's laptop because it wasn't booting properly and refusing to run .exe files and instead spewing spam popups, it was just viruses that I got rid of quite easily. I: All I did was change the setup [.exe] file of Malware Bytes to .com as an extension and it would run, and I also booted a virus scanner via USB that scans the computer without entering the actual Windows part. It works beautifully today.

Fuck, it's like no one here even bothers for a challenge, or even try, it's just like "OKAY GIVE UP AND REFORMAT LOL."
This is the sort of person I don't want to be.}

I don't know what happened to your other journal entry but you still may be able to get a new version of XP through the MSDNAA, ask one of your lecturers about it and see if they can hook you up, worst case scenario is you get Windows 7.
